Trust in Tricia and Kimvy Not Kim Launch Speed Styling
I have learned so many helpful little tips since starting Trust in Tricia in 2008 from all the people Ihave met and worked with. Like hair stylists, makeup artists, models on posing, photographers, fitness professionals, etc. I find that I always have some question for them that relates to my life but I just never bothered to ask- either I didn’t ever have anyone to ask or maybe I didn’t realize I even had the question or how it impacted me. But it always seemed to be the most simple answer and then I have this big “ah-ha” moment like “ohhhhh! No wonder!”. For example, my hairstylist was telling me why I shouldnt wash my hair everyday. I explained that I had to because my bangs get greasy from my oily forehead and look stringy. She suggested dry shampoo. I had seen her use the stuff a million times on models when we worked together but never knew exactly what it did or how it could help me until we started talking about it. So I tried it and it really solved the problem! Who knew it was that easy and inexpensive?! Then recently I met with an industry friend for dinner. She was talking about how she always reads fashion and beauty tips in magazine that she wants to try but cant figure out how to relate it to herself (hair type, body type, etc). After talking we both realized that people could really benefit from just being able to chat with a few related professionals all in one place! Thus the birth of Speed Styling!
The official launch details: Trust in Tricia and Kimvy Not Kim created Speed Styling events to give women and men the opportunity to learn “hands-on” quick tips about clothing, hair, makeup and skin care. Everyone has picked up a fashion or skin care tip from a magazine or website, and thought it was a grand idea. However, most women and men do not follow through with the idea because they have no clue how to make it work for their body. Why not take those fashion/beauty/skincare/hair/clothing/weight-loss ideas and bring them to an expert for “speed styling” consultations? Similar to the set up of speed dating, but with guaranteed results! Then after a quick lesson with no commitment you can relax and leave the event looking and feeling fresh and new! (or hang around for a few cocktails with “new” friends…which would be my suggestion!!)
Guests at Speed Styling will spend a fun-filled night of networking with other guests and learn quick tips to enhance their beauty, image and appearance for personal or business use. This will be an incredible event because guests will have a chance to exhibit their new looks to boost their self-esteem, morale, and well-being during or after the event.
The Speed Styling events will be held at different venues in and around Boston suburbs and surroundings. This will give each community a chance to increase their business revenue and guests to network with familiar and unfamiliar faces. The event will be alive with appreciation, excitement and a memorable gift bag.
The launch of Speed Styling will take place at Assembly, a hip new restaurant/bar in North Quincy, on March 26th from 6:30-9:30.
