I remember back to a few Christmases ago when I was hired to buy a flat screen tv for a very deserving teenager. I price compared, reported the research to her mom and together we chose the best deal. I picked it up for her on Black Friday. You would think the biggest challenge would be the long lines and crowds in store right? Wrong! It was actually sneaking it into the house while the daughter was home! I arrived to find out she hadn’t gone out like she was supposed to, so I tossed my jacket over the box and “snuck” a 27″ tv passed her bedroom and into her mom’s room!
As a personal shopper, most people think all I shop for is clothes, shoes and accessories. While that is true most of the year, I do expand my services during the holidays. Still using the same skill set of knowing what an individual I’ve never met before would like and what clothes would fit them well, I purchase gifts for clients loved ones during this time. I also know how busy my clients are in general year round, nevermind during that craziness of the holidays! So I step in where needed to cover all shopping needs (… except groceries! Yes, I’ve been asked. And no way Jose, I don’t even like buying my own groceries!)

Holiday Dressing
How on earth during November and December are we supposed to find time to outfit ourselves for every party and celebration, in addition to hosting, gift shopping, traveling to see friends and family… the list goes on! There are lots of other things to think about during the Holidays but I am determined to help make sure my clients aren’t putting themselves last. From Thanksgiving to New Year’s Eve we have lots to dress for. And I want you all to be just as proud of the outfit you rock to host dinner as you are about the table setting decor!
Let’s work together to ensure:

(I totally understand why wearing your sequin strapless cocktail dress may seem like a bit much to the party where the CEO will be, in the office that you are required to wear suits in!)

$100/hr in person styling and shopping- we meet at your house to review your existing wardrobe or we meet at the mall to do some holiday focused shopping
$60/hr virtual styling and shopping- We’ll set up a time to chat over the computer where you will show me your outfit options. I’ll analyze your bodytype, have you step off camera to try things on and make suggestions for shoes and accessories until we cover all of your holiday dressing needs! Or if you know you need new items, send me Pinterest inspirations and I can critique to help narrow down best choices and where to get them. And if you’re hitting some stores yourself? Let me know when and I will make myself available for fitting room virtual sessions over cell phone or emailed pictures of options so I can help you make the best selections.
